WOW! My mares confidence has soared jumping wise, shes getting so brave 
which in turn is making me trust her more (she has been known to pull a few dirty stops at the last minute but purely a confidence issue on my part)
Set up a grid of 3 jumps with 1 stride between each one, feeling brave we managed to get over 3ft
a year ago i would never have thought i would jump bigger than a x pole.
Mare started jumping earlier this year properly, shes a 5YR TB
Today she was much more controllable than last time, we had a lovely springy very collected canter around the menage and on approach she didnt take the pi$$ by getting strong and tearing around, she was very jump-able and rideable but still had the enthusiasm and spring to get there
I was advised to pop stirrups up a few holes from my last xc post, so i put them up 5 holes from my flat work length - do they look better??
