Super effective bit guards? Or stronger bitless bridle?

I need an effective solution for a pony who is of an age and breed that means she's feeling particularly full of the need to run each week after her day off. In my past experience of this age/breed, it's best to just indulge that and make it your idea, then they behave thereafter. Which we're doing, sensibly. She’s twisting her head at the beginning though (because what teenager wants to warm up?!) arguing a little, which is somehow, through the bit guards we have, rubbing her lips.

So I need a solution that means she isn't in danger of having rubbed lips on her 'I NEED TO RUN!' day of the week.
- Do super effective, impossible to rub the corners of the mouth whatever silly thing you do with your head, bit guards exist?
- Or a hackamore that's more effective than a flower hackamore/crossunder and could be used to safely run off energy on that one day a week when reason is a long way away?

She’s lovely and keen to learn the rest of the week, beginning to go in an outline, learning school movements etc. I just need a way to solve this once a week issue while she is still young and not in full work, so consequently full of a little too much energy!

Where is the bit placed in her mouth is it hitting her back teeth. Have her teeth been checked. What's your bridle set up like is it too big or small?

What bit does she have?

Does she get turned out on her day off, and if so what sort of field does she go out in - large or small, how long for, alone or with others?

What sort of feed is she on?

Acavallo gel bit guards
Ordered - fingers crossed, that would be the perfect solution!

For the other helpful people:
- Lip relief looked interesting but sadly I need a Dutch gag or universal and it’s not an option for those it seems.
- Pony lives out, on fresh air, hacks for 2+ hours and arrives home with tonnes of energy. Eats chaff and vitamins, that she’s been eating all summer. Everything fits, teeth done etc.

It’s just age, and breed. She’s NF x Arab. She is rising 5 with only a few months under saddle and little actual schooling. Rider just isn’t experienced enough to stop it happening as an adult would, and yes I could get on, but how is he to learn if he never does it himself? Hence looking for a solution that allows that. This pony invited herself to our family through a friend of a friend, but is a wonderful solution to my issue of the child who doesn’t see the point in schooling. He most certainly does now!!!

Cheap and cheerful for those particular days, or while waiting for your new bit guards to arrive....

Just smush a dollop of vaseline on the rubby bits 😊
