Please can I have your recommendations for some ultra grippy reins or grippy rein/glove combinations.

I have athritis in the fingers of my right hand so struggle with anything too bulky...

Thanks in advance!

Yep, agree with the eventa/macwets/rain combo - disaster. I'm using biogrips and macwets this season, so far, so very good (even with a big splooshy jump into water)! I hate bulky reins and like thin gloves, so this seems to be the best so far for me.

Are you sure they are the same? Cos if they are, then the Jeffries ones are MUCH more expensive!!

They definitely are the same as the jeffries biogrip reins. Kate Negus also do the same reins, as I'm sure do other saddlery companies. Any saddlers in theory could buy the rubber part and make up reins themselves.

Therefore a VERY good bargain IMO.

I've got a pair of jelly reins (I can't remember what they are actually called) from Barnsby that I really love, they are super grippy even in the wet

Punk they are EXACTLY the same. I first met the "Bio grip" ones when they first came out and loved them, so have been keeping a close eye on other makes bringing them out. The Kate Negus ones, Townfields ones, Jeffries and Barnsby ones are all EXACTLY the same

Yup, it is only really the leather bits that vary. I have a pair of the Townfield ones & Kate Negus ones. KN ones about twice the price of Townfield but on gorgeous leather with nice brass buckles that match my KN bridle!! The rubber bits are identical.
