So this weekend me and the super pony set off to another dressage competition. I was really not feeling up to this one this weekend but I thought oh well we will go and see what happens.

Turns out the super pony WAS feeling up to it. He rode a cracking prelim bringing home a personal best of 68.1% and some lovely comments from the judges. He just missed out on a placing. Coming 7th out of a class of 30.

Our second test was Novice 28 which is our 3rd novice and he came out with a very respectable 66.2% in that too. Not sure of placings yet as the class was huge so I didn't wait for the results.

If any of you have seen my posts about the horrible girls at the yard who told me we couldn't do dressage? Well it's a shame I've moved yards to get away from them because I think this would be the icing on top of the cake for them ! Haha !

What has everyone else been up to this weekend?

I remember your other post and am really pleased that you are now at a better yard and having fun doing your dressage...very well done for keeping at it...all I have done is poo pick the field and groomed my lame horse!!!!!

Thank you ! :) I'm really happy at my new yard. It's my instructors yard so that helps loads!

At least you've had a relaxing weekend. The only thing about competing is that in always shattered after ! I'm definitely having a relaxing one next weekend !

Thank you :)

Just got our results and we came 3rd in the novice and got a qualifying card for the sunshine tours. Job well done I think :)

Well done you pair, that's such fab news :)

How are you settling in to the new yard?

I managed a nice hack on jelly this weekend which I'm chuffed with as I thought her back would be a bit sore but she has looked great from the ground so we saddled up for a canter through the fields :)

Awwwh that's fab news about jelly !! I bet your so pleased.

The new yard is great. Harry is so happy. He's on full livery so I spend more time riding and doing things with him instead of mucking out lol. And I have my instructor at the yard now and she's super supportive so that helping.

No photos of me doing my test but I will post one of him pulling his cheeky face after the test hehe... 1 second x
