The mare has had the best part of 3 weeks off work due to throwing shoes and being lame.
Anyway on Thursday, mum got on her and we went out hacking. Lady was a star even though Chester was an idiot.
Yesterday afternoon we went out again. Again Lady was a star, so I decided we would go a walk down a bridle path that Chester and I usually have a blast down.
Mum was adament she didn't want to as she thought Lady would tank off. I made her do it and both horses were as good as gold!
Mum was beaming afterwards as shes now beginning to trust that I did in fact make the right choice in getting an ex racer on loan instead of a cob for her.
