Super star Little Miss Popple and her big blue rosette!!

[Puppy]

As requested, some pictures of Pops at her first show

She was SO, SO well behaved, which is more than can be said for many of the dogs there

I think I'd also forgotten that many people at dog shows are even more nutty than those at horse shows

Anyway, she won 2nd in the prettiest bitch class

(IMO she was robbed

) But I do admit that the springador that came first was quite pretty

and the judge was clearly spending quite some time looking between the two of them.

She also said Pops was in fab shape about 3 times and wanted to know what I feed her etc

Unfortunately, because it was such a chilly day and there was a 2 hour wait till the other class we'd entered, I decided that my head/neck wasn't up to it, and we came home after lunch for a little snooze

We have a lad x whippet name of Mavis but always known as "Poople" who is her taller but otherwise identical twin, right down to the "hangman's" mark on her neck. It's absolutely uncanny.

LOL! Given the class was "prettiest bitch" and the judge asked most of us whom I heard the judge talk to "if their dog was a he or a she?" then I think it would have been pretty valid!
