super strong pony

Back in summer I brought myself a spoilt pony intending to improve her. She used to be really strong and bolt up to every jump she saw. since the day I brought her she improved so much untill a few months ago something went wrong in her brain and since then shes just turned horrible , I cant hack and iv3 done nothing but walk her and try doing transitions and schooling for the last few months. But nothing will work with her. I've thought about giving in and selling her but i know no one would want her. I'm open to any ideas to help

What do you think triggered the change? Just guessing but would it have happened about the time that the grass stopped growing and you started feeding her? Is she perhaps stabled for longer than she is used to?

If you upped her feed try cutting out everything except some hay and see if her behaviour improves. If you can turn her out for longer do that as well. Also consider lunging her for 20 minutes or so before you try riding her and see if she's better with less grub in her and having had the edge taken off her first.

Thanks for that ill try everything especially the lundging . She doesn't actually eat a lot of food just a few handfulls of pony nuts so that she can have her calmer but last time I tryed cutting it down she was constantly jumping out of her feild to find food so I will have to be carefull
