Foal had a rare complication where his red blood cell count was low/ immune system ( something like that i wasnt really paying much attention) and his mum rejected him. He was having seizures and didn't look like he was going to make it, but they found a foster mum and he got better, saw them 2 months later and he was running around in his field all better!

Thanks for the update Crackerjack. I caught the last 5 mins last week - so didn't know what was wrong with the foal.

Great to know that the fostering worked and he seems to be on the road to recover.

the foal had neonatal isoerythrolysis - they never said it on the programme - i wish they would use the technical names as some people really like to know.
