Supplement to help mare in season.

After years of having non hormonal mares I finally have one that just seems to really struggle with her seasons. She is a hormonal moody mess. Does anyone have any recommendations for a supplement to just take the edge off?

My youngster was a moody witch the first year I had her, she'd turned 3 so I think it just hit her hard. I cheaped out and tried Dodson and Horrell Stroppy Mare to start and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Took her off it for a bit to see if there was a difference and there definitely was, so she went back on it again.

My youngster was 3 last year and that was the first time she started getting moody, we put her on NAF oestress powder and she was much calmer.

I think chasteberry has the best scientific evidence.
only form mine will eat is the expensive pellets but if they will eat it, the powders are really cheap

I used oestress when my mare was being hormonal, worked for us. I used the liquid one

Agnus Castus (chaste berry) is fairly cheap and can be quite effective.
