Supplements for gastric ulcers

Hi my mare has been diagnosed with a gastric ulser and she is currently on gastroguard (insurance is paying!) but when she comes off this I have been looking into supplements to put her on, what experiences have people had and what would you recommend? I have been looking at coligone but it seems quiet expensive what else is there out there? Thanks

I had terrific results with Global Herbs Acid-X, was really pleased with it and it didn't break the bank, not all horses will eat global herbs though as they smell quite strong.

It seems to be keeping the ulcers under control following treatment with Gastroguard in a good number of cases.

Might be worth looking into. The insurers should cover that for the first year too.
