supplements for mares in season

does anyone give their mares anything when they are in season? my mare as decided she wants to be in another field, and keeps escaping, she is in season , and i wondered if there is anything i can give her to lower her hormone levels. i'm at mt wits end, as i don't think the farmer is very pleased with me

I give my mare StroppyMare by dodson and horrell. It.Is.AMAZING! i couldnt possibly take my mare off it, as she is awful without it, even if it is just a couple of days! It is a lot cheaper than the other supplements (the decathlon near me sell it for £10.99 i think, and it lasts for ages!). It is all natural and herbal too honestly, i have got so much good stuff to say about it! lol

I just use agnus castus which is the herb in most of the supplements, it's just cheaper without the 'horse' tag! I get mine from here http://www.cotsherb.co.uk/botanical-herbs/herb-powders/agnus-castus-powder/prod_30.html and feed a 20g scoop per day - absolutly def makes a big difference!
