I am about to order some stuff which my saddle fitter recommended. Basically she thinks that they might improve "The Beasts" slightly stroppy (takes an hour to work in) attitude.

I wouldn't have said she was particularly marish, although she can be a tart around geldings who are actually interested in her (my old lad isn't)

She has recommended Yeasac and Chaste Berry, any experiences of feeding these to mares.

I feed my mare agnus castus which is essentially chaste berry and she has definitely been less stressy and less hormonal whilst on it and the only time I have had any behavioural problems with her coming into season was the final transitional season a couple of weeks ago. Before she seemed to be permanently in season and was a stroppy little madam!

same! I get mine from cotswold herbs, waaaay cheaper than horsey stuff!
 
I feed the Agnus Castus as well and I got it from natural animal feeds or something on here. There are stacks of threads to read through and get more information. I give a loaded scoop once a day - can't remember how many mls the scoop is.... I wouldn't bother with the branded mare mixes and just feed this straight. It's cheap and lasts for months :)
 
I hasve used both thosebut also found aromatic oils very useful .... with them she could find her own dose and take it as and when she needed it rather than all the time, I just offered them daily. One visit from an aromatic oils practitioner was well worth it :D :D :D
 
I get mine from pegusus healthcare for £10 and it lasts for months! I feed 15ml per day (only has 1 feed) I only started feeding it in April but think I will continue to feed through the winter just in case and it does no harm and is pennies x
