Heloooo!
Right, my pony is prone to laminitis and colic, and in the summer she gets a really bloated tummy on grass and hay, i have been advised to get a NAF supplement safe for laminetics and for colic to help 1. Help with laminitis and colic 2. Help with the huge belly. A friend said i need to get something to help backteria in the gut for the laminitis and colic, is this true? Also, Some one reccomended pink powder. Is it any good, or is there other supplements.
Thankyou!!

Did they recomend Lamineeze? Just a warning, I heard a vet warned against using this alongside other supplements as apparently when the chemicals mix it apparently it causes the gut not to function properly (which is why it can work for weight loss) but would not be good for a horse prone to colic! I don't know all the details and didn't question it myself. But I'd do some research.

However I know someone who does use lamineeze (person vet was talking to) and it has really helped.

You can contact NAF direct and ask their vet for advice. I highly recommend Pink Powder regardless of any help NAF give to EMW. I was using it for EMW Herefordshire residents long before we were awarded any help. It really is a good product. One problem these days is that most feeds have supplements added, just be aware you may be double dosing without knowing it.

emw.

i would recomend and have both horses on it one after she had an episode of colic and other one as she was very loose and windy.both are doing well and for the first time the little one has normal pooh.
