Suppliment for filled legs

Hi, we had a saracans rep at our yard last weekend and I asked her this question as my mare suffers from filled back legs. She suggested the Feedmark No Fill product https://www.feedmark.com/no-fill-2 she has used it on her own horse. I haven't tried it yet though. I use the equisox on my mare every night and have found these to be really effective.

(Sorry to hijack the thread!) I looked at the equisox but they said only 4-6 hours use is recommended. Do you leave them on overnight and do you have the pull on or zip type?

I’ve always used bandages for filled legs.

Sometimes it’s worth looking at their diet, often too much protein causes the legs to fill.

Mum's mare fills (old injury related probably) and she did think there was some improvement with the feedmark nofill.

Hi, I have been using them for about 4 years now. I tried the pull on ones to start with but found them difficult to get on over shoes so then got the zip on ones... They are definitely worth the extra money. I know the recommendation is 4 to 6 hours and I did build up the time she wears then gradually but she now has them on all night. I've never had any problem. She is very sensitive to pressure sores which is why is stopped using bandages and leg wraps as they all seems to rub eventually. Never had any problems with the equisox.
