suppliments for aging horse

so my cob is 22 yrs old, ive only had him since the end of the summer, hes in great health and been very well looked after in his previous home ( one owner since he was 4 yrs old)

hes a good doer and lives out rugged most of the year, however yesterday when riding he is starting to appear a little stiff- which im assuming as this is due to the colder weather- we had a good frost yesterday morning, after he was warm up the stiffness worked off.

he currently gets chaff, sixteen plus and speedy beet. plus ad lib hay.

my question is do any of you feed or could reccomend a good vetran suppliment- theres so many on the market that im not sure which to pick!!

I have a 22 yr old and a 19yr old and currently have them both on Global Herbs Old Age powder. 22yr old sometimes suffers with slight stiffness in hocks and 19yr old stiffness in shoulders, both of which seem much improved on this stuff.

I also used to use Gloal Herbs Old Age powder on my old 26yr old. I definitely noticed a difference and he seemed to be be happier in himself too.

I use celery seeds from natural horse supplies £5.49. I use it for my 18 year old retired tb that has severe arthritis in his knees and the difference is amazing. Some mornings he was so stiff coming out of the stable but since using celery seeds he just walks straight out withough any discomfort.
