My horse is more stiff to left hand side, just wondering what suppling exercises you can recommend?

I have been doing bending round poles, leg yield and teaching her turn on the forehand. Has physio to see her a couple times and she's said there's nothing wrong with her, she's just less flexible to the left. I also do inhand exercises and carrot stretches with her to help supple her up.

I was taught to get some apple or carrot or any form of treat/ feed and first of all encoruage the horse to bend to the girth area on the left and then the right, feeding the treat each time. The go back to the left side and encourage the horse to bend down to the hoof, repeat on the right side and then encourage the horse to bend to the flank on the left side and then the right :) I did this with my last loan horse- took a few weeks to stretch her right side as she was stiff on the side but it really worked :D

Hope that makes sense haha :)

Try flexing to the outside whilst spiralling down from 20m to 10m. You will need lots of outside leg to keep bending round circle you want. After couple circle change to inside flexion using even more outside leg to stop falling out. Certainly helped my mare
