Some friends of mine went to a Supporters Club Cttee Meeting last night and got there early only to find that a pre-committee committee meeting was being held in secret. They were told to leave and come back later, but they walked out. Some of these people had been hunt supporters for over 20 years. What a dreadful way to treat people.

Thats incredibly rude!
I am a member of our hunt supporters club, and our Hunt comittee sometimes attend the meetings and sometimes they don't, if they do they most sit and listen, which is IMO the best way, I think we have a pretty good mix, we have some people who are more 'active' than others but I guess that's natural.

Pre committee meetings are quite normal and of course, if you're not a member of said committee then you would be asked to wait until the open meeting started. Nothing rude or sly about it at all.
I hope you're not trying to stir up more trouble for the Kimblewick if going by your avatar is correct, if not, my apologies.

We have several committees within our pack including Young Entry, Point to Point, Horse Show & Ball very often we will have one meeting follow another and those who are not involved in the first meeting will wait in the bar until their meeting starts.

Not at all. Apparently this was a sub-committee meeting of the whole committee, including some people who weren't on any committee. They were also spoken down to in a very rude manner, having driven for an hour to get there. That's all.
