If anyone can tell me where I can buy sure grip reins WITHOUT the continental stops every so many inches I will be very
happy. Both Collegiate and Kincade do them but they both have stops on them so no good.

Have you seen the Jeffries Eventa reins? They are rubber though but really really soft and flexible. I toyed with those or dressage reins but could only afford one or the other so got the dressage so I could show her with them. I am going to get some though for cross country and hacking when I have some money!

Eileen Douglas Tackshop in Wokingham has them, there website is www.tackshop.co.uk. Not sure if they are on the website but they do have them in the shop now (bought a set on sunday) and they will post them out to you - most helpful tackshop i've ever been too....

Brilliant! You won't be disappointed with them. Excellent quality for the price and very comfortable to hold.

Mine are back and there is no variation of colour in the way that there is with the havana ones.
