suregrow fertilliser

has anyone used suregrow fertilliser and how long did you keep horses off field for? it says you can spread while horses are still on the grass but im not so sure...

Which one is it?
I'm sure we've used that on the farm and OH spreads it with the horses in the field, and they are fine

Yes you can so long as the grass is not really short. If it's really short or bare then I would wait until it has rained on it first.

it's specifically for horses comes in a green bag. im just a bit worried! seems quite odd how u can spread it then turnout!

With all the rain you should be fine as soon as all the pellets have disappeared. I used it but rested the paddock for a while to allow it to grow properly

the paddock is bare and horses r currently on box rest ( don't ask lol) till next wed and we r due rain so I thought it might b a good opportunity to spread it

We haven't used that one then but if it says you can turn out straight after then you can

I echo what someone else has said though, unless it's s massive field with not many horses I would rest it did a bit to allow it to grow
