surrey equestrian and lister liberty clippers

hi, have been looking for a pair of clippers and the lister liberty popular seem to be the best on the market. Any one have these and think they are any good as they will be my first pair. only have one horse but want a good investment.
at my tack shop they are 360 but have found them at surrey equestrian for a lot cheaper- 220!!! they are exactly the same, anyone had experience with them (surrey)as its the cheapest i can find internet wise.

My one and only experience of them is not brilliant I'm afraid - I ordered a rug liner from them before Christmas - it took a while to arrive, and when I opened it, they had sent they wrong size. I had problems getting through to them and when I did I was told to send it back and they would change it - not a word of apology for their mistake, which annoyed me a bit - I have just received the replacement ( correct size) but am still waiting for a refund on the postage on the one I had to return. Obviously this may just be a one-off, but I won't be using them again.
 
I'd recommend ebay too...I got my liveryman harmony clippers from paddock perfection on there and they were the cheapest I found anywhere online...about £40 less then Surrey. Got loads of freebies with them too, a pocket trimmer, blade wash and oil. Definitely recommend!
 
I'm a bit cheesed off with Surrey Equestrian, I placed an order on 29th Dec - still waiting for it. They are not taking phone calls so had to send an email. To be fair they replied fairly promptly but said one of my items is out of stock and they won't send the whole order until it is all in stock. Only reason I didn't cancel the order is because the items are quite good value - but poor customer service! They could have let me know there was a delay rather than wait for me to contact them.
 
I bought lister libertys from Surrey just recently and then came no problem and have used them other times in the past and always been happy with service. must just be lucky.

Don't want to change the subject but horseloverz..... aaarrrggghhh!
 
I have the Lister Libertys - I'm very happy with them. I've also ordered from Surrey Equestrian, and despite the fact they won't take orders over the phone, they have been very good, getting my supplement out to me within a few days.
 
I've used them in the past a couple of times and they were great. However I ordered a beagler from them on 27th December, money debited on 27th December, sum total of contact from Surrey Equestrian - NIL.

I have now emailed them to ask where my beagler is...

If it is out of stock then that is pretty poor customer service, an email would not have killed them!
 
They are my first set of clippers, have done about 6 clips with them so far since June and they're ace! Would never buy a plug in set after how easy these are.

Got mine from paddock perfection on e bay too- they were loads cheaper, free, very quick delivery and the bloke called 'Andy' I think was really helpful and lovely.

depends if they've got it in stock or not. they're quick with anything they have in store but if you order something they dont have then you have to wait ages and they wont let you know.

Well I don't need the bit til the end of Febuary so I'm hoping it should arrive by then, even if it's out of stock now

well i have ordered them now so if any probs will let you all know! i emailed to check if in stock and said yes and should be with me by friday! fun wekn ahead hopefully!
