im desperate to go hunting soon , I know there is a new comers meet this saturday but my little mare isnt quite fit enough to take her yet so was wondering f any one had any info on how to go about going hunting a little later in the season ????

what about kent and surrey bloodhounds i was having a look on their website they seem really nice and they hunt down in pulborough and places like that my mare isnt fit enough yet but i was hoping to go after xmas

My chap wasnt fit (still isnt) but you can go along and then bow out after a couple of hours if need be. On my first outing we started with a field of 15-20 and ended up with around 6 ! I stayed the course as the longer I was out the more he settled, also there is alot of standing around.

Ring your hunt sec and ask for the details and explain re fitness - i am sure they will be v helpful.
