Okay, heres the sitch, dad agreed (finally) to take me out this sunday for a ride, we normally go to a family run farm in ashford becuase my dad wont school and hasnt ridden so much, so he likes to walk and trot, and i like to go a bit faster

i also wanted to take a friend whos ridden about twice i think

so he'll be looking for something quite quiet. Phoned up the yard, they have two places, and there are 3 of us, and neither horse is big enough for my dad anyway. Hmm, now what lol. He says in his typical fatherly way he doesnt want to ride after this weekend because it will be too cold (next time i see him will be 25th nov after this sunday-11th) But im sooooo deprarate to go riding!!!
So the long and short of it is does anyone know of any reasonably priced farms/yards in the surrey area that will do hacks or trails for novice/intermediate, so we can all go and have a good ride? Have tried searching the net but there isnt much out there. Any thoughts appreciated, tah. x

I've heard good things about these guys:

but don't know anything about them myself. Worth a go though probably. I hope you have fun.

I used to go and they are very good, lovely horses. I live up north now but if you go give Sammy and Seedy a big kiss from me!!

You could try Surrey Hacking in Albury. I know somewhere outside Guildford that's great to ride, but they won't just take you out for a hack without a lesson or two first.
