Hi all,
I wonder if you can help me please. I am currently taking a level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the life long Learning sector [CTLLS] with riding as my specialist subject.
I have to do some research for my project this term and would be grateful if any teachers or coaches [qualified/non-qualified/experienced or trainee] would comment on the questions below.
I am planning to use some of these answers in a presentation so if you do not want to be quoted please state that on your reply.
Many thanks in advance
[ps I may post this in other sections to try and capture a wide response]
QUESTIONS
1 What difficulties do you encounter when trying to communicate the subtleties of riding and 'feel'with pupils?
2 Have you ever established your pupil's 'learning style' [using Kolb or Honey and Mumford or similar] and if so how did it help?
3 What teaching methods/exercises do you find the most effective and why?
