Ok since my last post, 16 y.o. TB mare with intermittent lameness has been sound..until that is it rained heavily on Monday but by Tuesday was sound again after a night in the box...I'm now starting to see a pattern to this, she appears to go lame on her off hind in wet weather (whilst turned out) and there was slight heat but no apparent swelling in fetlock. Haven't had vet out yet as lameness has been so sporadic so far. Anyone got any further ideas on what this could be or the beginnings of?
