Hi, my horse suffered a front leg suspensory injury around 4 months ago. The scans have shown good recovery and after a period of box rest,he's now turned out in a small paddock area (about 20m square). I was just wondering when I should increase the size of the paddock??? How have other people managed the turnout with this type of injury? My horse seems happy but a bit frustrated at being in a small area, but I obviously don't want him in a huge field in case he gallops round and injuries himself, but I was wondering about increasing the size to about 20m x 40m?
