Suspicious sighting south east cornwall

My Friend rang me today to say that there were some suspicious people with a white van parked outside the field gate looking at the horses.
with quite an aggressive attitude. as she did approach them. she got the reg and called the police who said they would investigate this. but no thefts have been reported. Its just so worrying.
 
We get white vans parked outside both our field gates all the time. Just stay alert.

In the local free horse magazine there is a warning that 17 horses have been stolen from S.E. Cornwall.
 
I had this sent to me in a text message. But thought it was one of those scam messages. There is nothing on the horse watch website and the police havent had any thefts reported. with so many text and rumours going around its hard to know what to believe.

That has long since been confirmed as nothing more than rumour.

Methinks a word with the editor may be in order............they shouldn't print unconfirmed rumours.
