Is anyone up for a meet up at the West Witterings (big dog friendly sandy beach here) and spend the afternoon out with the dogs?

If people need place to crash I live just outside of Chichester and have sofas, and a spare room and spare floor space. Happy to put a big chilli con carne in the slow cooker to feed people. Also have two spare crates that people can use. Dogs can go anywhere they fit :) I will just have my three in my room for the night and let the rest of you sort it out lol.

This is just a thought dunno if people would be up for it or not.

Heres the west witterings. Will be £2 parking though.

Oh yes definitly!!!! Excellent idea!

Harley would love it!

Hopefully not for a few week though so his nail clears up? :)

Why? Its open to dogs all year round or is it your distance? x

Yes, it's the distance, we don't manage to get down as much as we used to.
Used to have to come down years ago to pick up saddlery retail stock from the saddlery wholesalers just round the corner from there, so we'd make a day of it and chill out on the beach with fish & chips from the chippy just down from the £2 car park or go in the Lively Lady.

Haven't been down there for years, last time I took the horse and got chased up the beach by a loose dog, Sparks wouldn't normally have cared, but it was a big black & tan dog and only weeks after she had got bitten while hacking by a GSD (7 puncture wounds on stomach, legs and chest). Anyway I digress, if I'm off work then Oz will be up for coming.:)

Can I request Jan? I really want to bring Harley, but he was back at the vets last night with his broken nail and I've been told it is going to take a long time to heal :(

Mine isn't a lurcher ;)

Harley's nail is just about healed so I'm def up for Jan as long as we have no more disasters!! lol!

In that case we'll be there . . . I may actually have a lurcher by then (watch this space), but I know both Fred and Daisy would love this in any case (and West Wittering is only about a 2 hour drive from us).

P

Bring what ever/ who ever you like.

If you have no one or can't take one, have one of mine, the choice of: nutty pup, obnoxious spangle (if you can tear him away from me) and Dont give a s**t Old English Sheepdog. :)

I am thinking the weekend of 7/8 jan?
