Sorry to bothe you guys but you may remember I acquired a Swaine Adeney Saddle when I got my pony. Well the saddle fitter has been out and it doesnt fit my pony at all (she is quite wide).

As much as peeps have said it is a good make, what kin of price would you be looking at?

I am asking the same thing about my Stubben (also acquired with my horse and the saddle fitter has deemed it unsuitable). She is a Parzival, 18" wide (not blue stud).

Any ideas? I have been advised that Ebay is the worst place to sell a saddle lol!

I think I would suggest you got a second opinion on the fit, most saddles can be adjusted, and unless you horse is an unusual shape, it should be possible. Both saddles are of the best quality, and well worth persevering with, otherwise, you will lose a lot of money if you try to sell them, you still have the problem of finding a saddle to fit! Keep trying!

My horses are quite problematic haha!

Major has a very long back and is quite wide and due to his age, he dips and needs a special numnah. He came with the stubben but the saddle doesnt fit me either.

The Swaine is all wrong too and was causing the poor pony pain apparently and she is fairly wide. Yes they are both good quality saddles but I have found new ones whoch fit them and the riders and so want to sell...

Maybe the local tack shop?
