I'm I right in thinking this CHAPS pony is only worth the same as a just backed racehorse, when they are being given away for free-ish.

I would have thought the coloured cob would be worth more than a straight swap. Am I missing something, I know he's only 2 but even still, seams a bit strange to me, maybe I'm out of touch with prices?

They dont say racehorse it says tb type calm no injuries ex racehorse ok, i think they are expecting a nice finer type with no problems will consider racehorse.
I suspect they are looking for a nice finer bred horse but no rubbish so would be about the same money i would think.

Decent well bred tbs or similar types who are nice to do no lameness and are calm make decent money not the same as an ex racer who has bad habits and needs reschooling and can have soundness issues.
I think if you can have a tb who is of good tempremant sound easy to do it is worth some money while alot of the ex racers can turn out nice it can take work it seeems they are looking for an easy to do horse.
