hi i swapped a yearling with a friend of a friend for a 13hh pony as the girl had grown too large and my yearling will make 15hh, when we swapped we had a verbal agreement if either pony was to be sold first refusal should go to the previous owner but new homes were ment to be forever homes, the lady who had my yearling got into financial trouble and sold my yearling without telling me only 8 weeks after the swap where do i stand legally for getting him back? she has sold him to someone i have no idea who and she isnt keen on telling me where he is, i felt sorry for the ladys daughter as she has a disability and dearly loved the pony i now have and really wanted one she could do more with, it was made very clear to her if she wanted to sell him i wanted him back, our mutual friend whitnessed this, my yearling is still registered to me on necd and my name was in his passport and his chip was registered to me however the pony i now have wasnt registered in the ladys name at all, please help
