Yep, there are fine, i hangthem in the stale for mine, it gives them something to do.

Ours likes it diced and put in his snackball. He also has one hanging up for him to play with. Oh, and an apple in his water for apple bobbing

I get the biggest one I can find and put in on a string - lasts Chancer a hour or so, and Cairo 5 minutes - there is no such thing as a large swede when you have the gob of a Clydesdale.

Oh, and Lidl have HUGE swede's at 25p each atm! and parsnips at 36p a bag!!
