Hey all, don;t think this has been posted yet - or I can't find it anyway.

Hope we are all well. Just back in from Paddy boys second XC. Had a lovely day, only one stop which was not his fault. Gorgeous hot sunny day, dry ground and about ten mins before our start time there was a clap of thunder a flash of lightening and then the heavens monsooned for about 5 mins and disappeared as quick as they arrived. Unfortunately this left a horrid slide on the grass adn we came through the gate way and as I lined for the jump he totally skidded so I had to circle and re-present. So I feel he did really well adn we finished in 10th position

Hi everyone!!

I've had a lovely day - rode this morning (Nixon was a tw@t!) and then went to the hunt kennels for the show - I'm going to have 2 puppies next year to puppy walk - how exciting!!

Then went to parents and had a BBQ and then when I got back got Inca in to do some work - she is totally sound again!!

Little Jess is also really well

- the little sod broke out of her pen twice today so we have left her out with her buddies as there is no sign of lameness etc What a turn around in a week!!

Had a nice day today too! Did you see the message the midwife left about being unable to fix the cam, but would post photos. Also, that they are planning a BBQ so people can go and see the foals.

not good

got 55.22% first test second one which i thought was better got 44%. got a 3 at one point

i was 5 marks away from 6th in first test.

but was well marked down on second one. altho managed to memorise second test in 5 min

was last in both classes

- at least you have stuff to work on!! You have just had a new saddle and a new bit - and not much riding recently due to saddle issues so it can only get better!!

Have just chased the old bugger around - he didn't want to go back in his paddock - normally just follows me - I had to go and get his headcollar not much wrong with him!!

It is - especially on nights like this

. The windows are open and every now and then you just hear one blowing a raspberry at the others as they mooch around

. Its nice on hot days too when you look out and see them all lying down having a kip!! I get to see them doing lots of things their owners never see and because I'm always here and around they all trust me to do stuff for them.

The downside is my two are the otherside of the hedge and hear me get up in the morning and start demanding their breakfast at the top of their voices!!

Aww sounds very peaceful though! I'd rather have them softly padding around in their fields etc than my dog howling at the slightest thing in the garden. Sigh! Hope he gets over that little habit when Darcys home .. that will be most annoying!
