I'm trying not to be nervous, or is it that I'm excited?! Instructor riding Dizz today and then Daughter will get on if all is okay. Going to try Dizz in a hackamore (thank you C!) so that should be interesting. Hubby is taking a camera...

I think I sound a bit daft about all this. Daughter is competant, or I wouldn't consider it! Maybe I think my fat ar$e has helped stop some of Dizzy's shenanigans and Daughter doesn't have that advantage lol. Instructor I have no worries about - far better rider than me, much more experienced. I think that's my angst re. Daughter - whilst becoming technically pretty good, she's only been riding for just short of three years. Until failry recently she'd ridden only Little Cob and a few times on Big Cob. Okay so Little Lad has tested her stickability. as has Little Madam to some extent, but they are both a lot smaller than Dizz face.

Now I'm shivering.

Think I'm going to retire!

I had the forum gremlins to last night so gave up and went to bed! Well have had a busy morning so far and just having brekkie before setting off to Bransby - will take camera just in case there are cute donkey foals we need to have pictures of.....

Will be back later as loan horse is arriving - don't think neice has slept......

MrsM - she will be fine - just v annoying when they hop and ride better then you - still at least you can beat afterwards.....

So question for the morning - is it wrong to eat profiteroles for breakfast??

Got a rare day off completley from work so relaxing and recovering my aching body. rode for 3 hours yesterday which was lush.

Afternoon folks!!

Have been to Bransby - fell in love with a hairy skewbald called Boots (don't tell the coblet!

). It was very busy which was good for them and the horses,ponies and donkeys were all loving the attention! Met gails and little Daisy who was resplendant in her pink jods.

Back on sofa having a cuppa as have moved a pony and sorted stuff ready for the arrival of loan horse (will do piccies later) will be heading out to ride in a bit.

To all those who offered advice - profiteroles ARE the way to go for breakfast..................

DL - how was the stressage?? report and piccies needed!

hope you are having a fab time!! Just waiting for neices loan horse to arrive - neice vvvvvvvv excited and planning hunter trials, x country and god only knows what on her!! Is here for a 2 week trial - so fingers crossed it works out! will post piccies later - you will like her as she is a ginger with a flaxen mane!!

Just found that a caravan on neigbour's field has had it's windows broken, and a van windscreen pushed in!!

Very worrying, and can't believe how someone would do this!! We're in a quiet area, and there's nothing around us!!

Evening all, can't believe we've only got one page at twenty to 7!!

I had a great day

Darcy loaded like a star, only one small half-hearted back up off the ramp and then went straight in

Warmed up nicely, he felt nice and soft etc even if he did nearly have me off over the appearance of his own shadow as the sun came out

Test went okay too

He felt like he was going about 100mph but everyone else said he was going well. Think it was because he was actually using himself rather than slogging along!

I'd not given him his usual calmer for loading so it apparently made the difference!! He did have a bit of a spook at the judges table each time we went around so we fell in a little there, but over all not too shabby if I do say so myself

So anywho, we got 63% and came 7th out of 20 something

Only slightly miffed that the Judge thinks he has a back problem..?

He had a vet - suggested chiropractor out the other month!

Have to wait for the Pro Pics to appear though , camera refused to function

Slinks incase I misesd it, what was the ponies name?! Glad he/ she has arrived safe and sound .

My instructor has been really pulled apart by SHE (

) and has had lies / letters etc to her for no reason whatsoever. Nearly got her thrown off infact

She unfortunatley often gets beaten by SHE and has it thrown in her face so its a real nightmare.

She beat her today

Celebrations really in order!!

- will do piccies tomorrow as there isn't enough light now for a good one. She went well at the team chase today - was jumping mahoosive fences - so is all tired bless her. She has had a bit of a fuss and a bowl of pony nuts, checked out her new paddock, had a roll and was having a little trot about showing off to her new friends!

Neice v excited - and I'm sure if she thought she could get away with bunking off school she would!! Has promised to do all her homework to make sure she can get down here to ride - we'll see how long that lasts!!

Why is this person telling lies? Just to be spiteful? If so, can you prove that she is lying, and if you can't keep a written record of everything in future, then you can dispute what she says!!
