My mum is/was a teacher everything we did got marked by her and our real teachers.....writing thank you letters was sooooooooo painful and took days to get the spelling and punctuation right.........

I think school and education is wasted on the young - I would get so much more out of it now.........

Maybe we should go back to child labour and then when you are about 30 go to school and uni.....

I agree, I think I'd like to do my school years all again, with the experience of hindsight, but the correct age for school!!!

Going down in the morning to meet up with the other family members and then travel across to the Ritz. Hopefully it will be a nice day, I'm quite looking forward to it.

It's my MIL's 80th Birthday. This is what she wanted to do, so it's just family.
