Morning peeps!!

Well my cunning plan to ride at 7am this morning went out of the window - I overslept and woke up at 8!!

Anyway have done the mutts and neds so am about to go to work.

Here hoping we don't all get booted off here again today!!

I was also going to ride this morning but after I'd turfed D out at 7 and mucked out, he'd cleared off as far down the field as the naked eye could allow for. And I just couldn't be doing with walking that far this morning

So, I'll be going out shopping today and then hopefully not braving the heat to ride this morning

The school's are booked from 5.15-8 so it'll have to be before then!

Morning sweet peeps

it's official, I'm retiring. So far my day has included:

Dizzy wouldn't be caught! Did eventually, but by then too late to ride (she's not stupid!). Fed n groomed her then turned back out;

Escape artist pony did it again, this time deliberately using her teeth to pull thebattery connectors off the battery! Shooed her back into field, stoppled othe neds escaping, turned Dizz out;

Dropped phone and cracked case;

Tore lining of trousers;

Didn't close car boot properly, so had to climb in fro
back;

Yard loo out of toilet roll;

Broke a nail (hurt!);

Got black stuff on white top;

Muttered at another driver, who was then really nice, so I felt guilty.

Hm. Have bought carrots and red apples and green apples and a bumper pack of Polos. Roll on tomorrow

Well, computer threw me off here last night, but just checked and my post to say Night got through!!!! What was all that about???!!

Anyway, lovely day here

and warm, so off to sort out horses soon!! Just had to have another

Maybe Dizzy wanted a day off!!! (just sometimes you could ring the pedigree line eh?!!)

hi guys

well i managed to ride this morning went for quite a long hack, which confused her, met lots of people doing gardening, a hedgeparer and scary bag at bottom of ladder. met the normal amount of inconsiderate drivers etc.

have started to clean the backlog of numnahs and saddlecloths, and catching up on washing.

OMG!!! My big mare is NOT in OH's good books!!!

Just got in from bathing horse with a vengeance!!

Whilst I was busy, big mare was roaming around, so, as she was bored and into everything, I gave her a little bit of grass outside the yard!! Did she eat it??? NO WAY!!! She decided to walk up to the bonnet of my car and....sink her teeth in it!!!

I have two rather large scratches on the bonnet, a very smug looking horse ( with a look of yeah whatever!!!) and one very irate OH!!!

well mctimmony lady has been and his pelvis was out of alignment and neck was very stiff so fingers crossed??

she liked my mare said shes very pretty everyone does ahh...well she is pretty.

now gonna take dog for a walk and then have a bath.

I'm going to be very self-indulgent and say that Darcy is beginning to have a break through

Touch wood anyway! I treated myself to a Myler snaffle and ooh my word

!! We both approve very much

That's the one I got

It's got 3 copper in-lays which made darcy really salivate and nice and soft and he was just a lot more willing to step up into the contact. I could physically feel his back round which was very odd! But we maintained a fair outline so yay

Not a miracle cure obviously ! The two sides move independantly aswell meaning that if I fath about with one of my hands, the other isn't affected. Meant I could use my outside rein solely for balance and my inside purely for bending etc

Its a nifty thing!

My pony came with loose ring and wasn't happy in it so now has a hanging cheek snaffle and perfectly happy wappy

I just went ahead and bought one

It was discounted slightly because the rings had minor , and I mean minor scratches ! So I snapped it up

I've always been curious with them and you know how curiosity kills

We tried a hanging cheek, but she doesn't really lean so didn't really work, and she wasn't comfortable.

Have always wondered about the mylers. Is that one dressage legal??

Yep, any of the brands that are 02 or 32 are dressage legal - despite the sweet iron and copper!
