Morning all!!

Haven't had a chance to even look on here this weekend gone, as it was my B'Day and was celebrating all weekend!!

My OH gave me a card and he had drawn a pic of Horlicks inside, even got her coloured patches right!! Just shows he does pay attention!!
Had a fab weekend, and got spoilt rotten!! Got a meal on Friday in a posh restaurant, which I am looking forward to!!

Lesson tonight on the one and only, so looking forward to that!! Just hope the weather holds out!!!

My OH went out the door this morning and just shouted a quick goodbye up the stairs as he went! OK it was 6am, but I know he's forgotten.

We went to pub for tea yesterday as we were both working on a bank holiday and not once did he mention it was my anniversary dinner (it wasn't but it's the sort of thing he would say!) I'm going to wait until 10 pm to give him his card and pressie so he doesn't have time to wriggle out of it and say he was planning a surprise for later in the day.

Well I have ridden the BGL - was a very good boy and we did lots of canter transitions and the practised the canter movements from our 2 potential tests and rode them both pretty much ok!!

Afternoon all. Did big pony early did gardening job came home and looked at Ebay - fainted then had a cup of tea.

Typewriter I would have binned is up to £93!!

Feeling guilty that the lad would be boiling as the weather forecast looked grim so I put a Light turnout rug on him. Then just as I thought about racing down to take it off the heavens opened up!!

Here is me assuming he got turned out but I did leave before the others finished their brekky and he cant go out on his own so he may be stood in in his turnout fingers crossed.

well what a day!! have done all normal tasks of feeding, cleaning and generally be dogs body for them(horses).
done grocery shopping
done cider duty form, which to complete i had to go get some stuff photocopied.
then had lunch.
then cleaned static van ready for next visitors.
then fed horses and gave archie stable good clean out of the wet stuff (hes a pee aholic!!!)
then i gave him a sponge bath (because you're generally not supposed to groom in stable due to putting more dust in bed)
then done tea ready for oven, am now catching up on hho and watching some tv.
 
well hes still not over the moon to be in, its bit hard to tell really coz hes in, always seemed ok in a straight line anyway. samstar suggested getting bioflow boots.
 
Evening!! I'm back - *falls over in crumpled heap*

I rode the coblet and it was going swimmingly as she even decided to canter in the school (no bucking etc) then the the bloody lightening

started so being a complete chicken - and her eyes were out on stalks!! - we called it a day and she went back out!!

My neices came up with some friends and their ponies so went hooning around the jumping field, cross country and some of the fields - have all left now but hard to say which is more kanckered - the ponies or the kids......

Quick question - anyone ever used a back riser, and if so, which one?? I have a pro-lite but it's a front one, so, another pro-lite, or a lemeuix or a wintec...any suggestions guys??

Can't help with the riser thing though but I do like the Le Meuix - and they have a pad which has padding you can take out back and front as required - might be worth a look. I'll have a look when I'm back in after doing the hay as i think I've got a brochure with details in somewhere....

Thanks Slinky,I like the sound of the Le Meuix one and I don't think it's as expensive as the pro_lite, or maybe I'm looking at a different thing!!!

Not sure how or why, they aren't mega nasty just bled a fair bit. It looks as if he's either run through a corner of a bramble bush (Theres only one slightly hanging over the fence) , or maybe his road nails have caught him when he's been rolling?? They did look a bit sore and did he squeal when I washed it
