Wednesday is riding day for me! Not today though.

I'm really annoyed with myself because as I was waiting for my lift to the riding school, I saw a really mixy-looking rabbit under a hedge (this is a really well-kept housing estate so I have no idea what a wild rabbit was doing here!) and I missed my lift because I was trying to catch it so it wouldn't infect any of the pet rabbits in the area. But when I ran inside for a blanket and a box (no way was I picking it up in my bare hands lol) it hopped away blindly and I came back outside and couldn't find it anywhere.

I don't know how it managed to get so far when it was half-dead, but I've searched the whole neighbourhood (including trying to use Poppy the Jack Russel as a search-and-rescue dog!) and I can't find it anywhere.

So I've missed my riding lesson for a phantom rabbit.

I'm going to try and book another one for tomorrow or something because no way am I waiting a whole other week for my next horse-fix!
 
i am so jealous of all you peeps I have been at work since 4am this morning as we have a stand at lincs show and now I am back in the shop maning the fort until i have to go back tonight and pick people up i am sooooooooo tired and would give anything to be able to go and spend some much needed time with my neddy in the sunshine

daughter rode lc and gave him a bath. fixed some leccy fencing. came home. it all took a heck of a long time!

now have to clear sitting room of 'stuff' from the girls bedooms - having a bit of a clear out

I've been running around doing bits and pieces (had to buy new hoover..

..) and had the farrier this morning - just waiting for the school to be free and I will be riding my two!! Is lovely and sunny today but with a nice breeze!!

!!!!! Paddy and I are not speaking - just had the most AWFUL schooling session. Got to my instructors and there was somebody in schooling when I got there so I just started Paddy off quietly walking and he seemed to start off quite well and a little trot work. The other rider wanted to ride a test so I stepped out the way whilst she did this and then when I asked Paddy to work again I got not and ounce of sense - total giraffe and made a right ar@e of use both and the more I tried to work him in the worse he got, ending out with me in a total

So I gave up came home and put him to bed.

Anyway, rant over, I'm happy Ugly Betty is on so spose that's something!

Inca made me giggle tonight when I accidently touched (and i do mean touched!!) her shoulder with my stick - went trotting off as if I had beaten her!! then the barn owl flew past and she decided he was clearly in coblet eating mode - so I got the closest thing to a half pass you will ever see a coblet do - blimming drama queeen!!!

Not yet. She rides at my daughter's work experience yard, so won't hear until the weekend, so will have to wait and see!

Funny thing is, now daughter has been working on her, she turning out very nicely!!! Ah well, I'll put her up for sale if that's the case, although I hate doing it
