hello

i am not sure if you have ever heard of a guy called Buster Lloyd Jones but he was the guy who first put into production herbal stuff for dogs and cats.

well any way i sent an email to them to ask if there was anything herbal i could use for paddy and his sweetitch and he came back with this Arsenicum album 30c drops given 2 or 3 x a day depending on how serious it is.From april to november.

so what do you think?

dunno but my mate uses something from Avon, called Skin so soft, its oily and smells of lavender and keeps her boys sweet itch under control, and its dead cheap!....is arsenicum related to arsenic??

I think with sweet itch anything is worth a try but in all honesty, I think covering up and preventing them getting bitten is the only real way.
I have decided, after 12 yrs of dealing with sweet itch on my cob that I would rather spend my money on rugs than lotions and potions. So this year he will have a swet itch rug on with a summer sheet over the top to prevent rips and tears from wondering teeth and a big pot of good old Net Tex Sweet Itch Slave Complete for his sheath and face and some home made Avon Skin so Soft fly spray.

Good luck and let us know if it works
