I bought one of these rugs back in April from Equus Vitalis Uk. It was for our 18.1hh Shire x who suffers from Sweet itch symptoms. It was really tricky to put on, as it had to be pulled over his head. It two of us, but we eventually got it on and turned him out. He immediately rolled and the whole rug spun around, twisted and exposed half his body. This was all of 2 mins into wearing it. I took it off, as there was no way it was going to do the job it was sold for. I rang the company and sent them pictures. I asked to return it, as it was not suitable for the job it was designed for. They needed firstly to discuss this with the company, which they did. (I presume Busse) I was then told that I must have bought the wrong size (No I didn't!) and were not going to refund my money. So I copy and pasted a piece from consumer rights, which states: If a product is not fit for purpose you are entitled to your money back. Almost immediately they changed their minds and from that moment on were charming and helpful. I of course, was within my rights. I returned the new, but a little bit dirty rug to them, at their cost. It too me another 3 weeks to get a refund. The bottom line is, if something really isn't fit for purpose you are within your rights to get your money back. Don't be fobbed off! I believe that some products are made without being properly tested and if the companies don't do proper testing why should we be out of pocket.
