I've tried Boett and been forever repairing it.
I've tried the Rambo sweet itch hoody and found it good, but my present example is three years old and I'm needing a replacement.
Just wondering what other people used, how they found them, and mainly how well they stand up to nibbling by field-mates!

i have that one too.it was £80.my mare is out with 2 youngsters and they groom each other all the time and it has stood up to this 100%.
last year i could not stable her cos of itching but this year since i`d had it,i can.
i think all these sheets(whatever you call em) need leccy fence anound the edge of the field to stop snags.

ive got the hoody its 5 years old and needs replacing!
got a geetack one from ebay its seems to stop the midges but its too thin to stop the horse flies too(she gets driven insane by any insects)
am thinking about getting a snuggly hoods one..

Whatever rug you choose you MUST use with electric fencing. A rug designed or summer use will not stand up to rough or sharp objects.
I've always found the Boett fine with mutual grooming etc..however, due to my field location I'm getting away with a bog standard cheap fly rug..

Oh Wow!!
Thanks for that guys!

Ditto the pagony. I had it on my boy with sweet itch and was really impressed with it for a cheap rug. Due to circumstances he was in a field with barbed wire and rough metal fencing, yet the pagony still stood up to wear well.
