Well so far im amazed. with this realy good weather i would have been expecting stan to have been scratching himself raw, however he hasnt!!!!! and im very very pleased.

Its not a 100% cure so far but its much much better. He has had a go at his tail, but his mane is untouched, he has had a small go at his shoulders but nothing much. He did his tail in one day so i have since then brought him in at 6.30 pm and put his boette on, then i take it off at 8.30am and he hasnt scratched at all since ive started doing it!
this pony had horrific sweetitch before we started the vaccine trials 3 years ago and he has had an improvement each year but this is by far the most improvement especialy concidering the weather and that everything else in the field is being driven mad by the flys dispite liberal coatings of fly spray!

conniegirl do you know if it has any side affects, I suppose I should speak to my vet about it as I wondered if I could have the vaccine for one of my mares, but she is going into foal so I don't know if the vaccine would affect her getting in foal or hurt the foal.

well ive had no side effects but its supposed to be administered in jan or feb.
If you phone the national sweetitch centre on 01352 771718 they should be able to tell you more about it, its only available via the sweetitch centre and alot of vets dont know about it!
