Hi, I noticed today that my mares off fore fetlock is swollen and there is heat, although no lameness? I hosed it off and turned her out for a couple of hours, but was even hotter when I got her back in, she has not been in any work after our 'knee incident' in september, so cannot be a ridden injury and I cannot be sure as to how long this swelling as been there as have been doing horses in the dark for the few days before, although my instructor saw her get up from laying down friday night and said she looked lame as she got up, but again it was dark, but was then walking around her stable fine? She is stabled overnight and goes out during the day, her back legs were slightly filled this morning but is pretty standard after being in at night. I am just concerned about this one, fore leg? anyone have experience with this?? Thanks
