imho i think it looks as though the swelling has gone up the leg slightly in the last pic, although im no good at telling from pics, much better in the flesh

probably way off though

hmm, well usually when swelling moves up the leg it means that there is an infection, from my experience anyways!

it has gone down from the first pic though

As its a blood clot I would be slightly worried that the swelling is going up, as it could also mean the clot is moving up? Not a vet though, so could be way off, just going by people (mother is incessant worrier and a nurse

lol)
I think you need something to break the clot up, like one of those hand held massager thingys or a trip to a spa?

Hoping its neither

... Fluid results should be back hopefully this week, she was given a dose of antibiotics about 3/4 days after I noticed the swelling .

Thats what my first reaction was ..ie blood clot hence why I was using the powered hose we have at the yard, Its not overly powerful but more pressure if you get my meaning and just blasting it on her leg .

Have been massaging her leg with my fingers . Going to have a word with the vet to see what she thinks .

would be very careful massaging it if its a clot or haematoma as it could cause an emboli to break off travel through the bloodstream and become lodged in one of the smaller vessels in the lungs, brain or heart causing a blockage think I would speak to vet

depends on exactly what it is as clots and haematomas are vastly different a clot would require some form of anticoagulant whereas a haematoma can be treated more conservatively maybe some arnica tablets/gel to assist with dispersal/reabsorbtion of the haematoma good luck
