Hi,
My horse banged his head/neck - not exactly sure where but was walking round with his head on the floor and almost wanting to lie down for 5 mins. He is going to vets as he has since started to canter disunited - lunge and ridden - worse on right rein that left. The vet doesn't think its linked as he's not showing any other signs of dis-coordination however my friends horse did something similar and it turned out to be a swelling on vertebrae.
Just wondering - if I put my foot down to investigate that first rather than looking into his hindleg joints further (not lame on flexion tests and he's already x-rayed his hocks) then will an x-ray show any swellings?
Thanks
Laura
