Okay so it's now been 3 months since Maddie's colic op (infact...probably nearer 4) and the large part of the wound has healed nicely, however, there is still a lot of swelling around the area were she had the initial infection. The infection appears to be all gone (has been for months) but still quite swollen (going down incredibly slowly)
Anyone have an idea what could be going on, vets have looked at in and are going to ultrasound it hopefully, and maybe another course of anti-b's. The swelling is fairly soft, but not very fluidy as til has a degree of firmness to it.
Bit of a rambly post, I'm not overly concerned as its not causing any pain to her, fine to touch etc.
