My 14yo gelding has a small bony swelling on the outer side of his rear right leg..... when I purchased him he had a splint, but as its not on my vetting form I can't remember where it was...
He's not lame, is tracking up, and its not tender when palpated.... altho today it was slightly warmer than the last couple of days. I cold hosed it and turned him out....
He has been in a field with some jumps set up and wondered if he had just banged it.....
Is it worth getting the vet out????
I'm a worried mum as I'm away on business for next couple of days :-(
