Swelling..?

how do you reduce swelling with out hosing it down, using lotions and potions..? <due to mud fever cut...?

Don't know about lotions and potions

but how about an ice pack? I used to have a poltice type thing that you could freeze and then bandage on. I'm sure you could improvise.

Improvise! If it's at the bottom of the leg, try putting the leg in a waterproof bag, taping it gently wherever it reaches, and hosing outside the bag?
Or frozen peas or an ice pack?
