Swindon area - riding schools

I want to find a place to ride when I'm at home in Swindon for work, as well as the place I go to when I'm in Bristol for uni.

I used to go to Hulbert's Green but I'm not sure if they're still teaching, I know I had a few lessons after they downsized it dramatically.

I wondered if anyone knew if they were still going at all. Alternatively I was thinking of trying Ladysmith Equestrian, anyone recommend them? Or Wickstead Farm as it's good to get to from work - but I've only heard a couple of bits about them and neither were very good, nothing so bad enough as to put me off seeing for myself. Any thoughts on them?

I can higly recommend Ladysmith! Nice place, good facililties and Rose Collins is lovely and an excellent instructor

HG are still teaching but it's just Janice now with a few horses part-time. Worth giving her a call

Ladysmith is very good indeed, my daughter and I both had lessons there and it was great.
There is also Charlbury Farm at Hinton Parva, this is a lot more kid oriented but also pretty good value for money. Those are the only two I have experience of, I think there is also one called "Breach Lane" out by Tockenham and another called Malthouse Equestrian round the same area but not sure where and no experience of it.

My daughter has also had lessons at Pewsey Vale and Talland, but these are a fair trek from Swindon

Yay! Do you happen to know if they still have Robin, Oliver or Hercules still?

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll give Janice a call and if not I really liked the look of Ladysmith so it's good to hear that people would recommend it.
