has anybody used any of their rugs? I am looking to get two lightweight no fill rugs for the spring for my horses and want to know what the fit and durability is like. Good or bad reviews please. Thanks

Hi there

I bought a lightweight swish rug this autumn, the red one. I got a 7' for my 17.1 ID but they are generous sizes especially round the neck line and it hangs on him, really needed the 6'9" but thats more my fault than theirs. I would suggest tho that they are very generous fittings. They are SUPER deep though and nearly meet under the stomach!

Mine unfortunately ripped after about 2 months right along the back from the wither right to his quarters. Not sure what happened found it that way in field. I have had it mended and the lady who mended it said that there must have been a nick or something under the fur part at the wither to make it rip like it did! Dont think they use the strongest of materials, though for the price, they won't do!

I went on to buy a Farmway own brand rug and its fantastic!!!!

Hope this helps

I bought a medium weight rug from there, sure it was only £46. or thereabouts, its fab and 1200 d, it has been caught on some barb wire but not ripped, only snagged slightly. Would definately buy another.

I have a HW turnout rug from there, Its great, lovely and warm and waterproof, no damage and it doesnt move like some other rugs.

I have 2 HW t/os from there. 1 purple 300g nice handy for in-between middleweights and very heavyweights, nice shape but not overly deep. Red 360g design not so well shaped but still a nice fit and deeper. Worn through most of last years horrific winter, lasted and cleaned up well, happy with both :). Haven't tried their L/Ws or no fills but believe all their rugs have 1200denier outers.

They are nicely made, not overly big or small, but they are lined with a 'slippery' nylon lining and can slip. They're fine for the price :)
