My pony gets grass glands on her jaw and cheeks all the time and they always go down over night.
Last week, I found her in her stable in the morning with a swollen chin. The swelling was quite hard but didn't seem to hurt her and she was eating/acting fine. I assumed she'd banged her chin in the stable and turned her out for the day. By the evening the swelling had gone down to just a small lump and this disappeared after a couple of days.
This week, exactly the same thing has happened again. Found her in the stable this morning with a fat chin but this time it didn't go down during the day and is still swollen this evening. It's odd that it's coming on over night...any ideas if this is just gland related!? Any similar problems?
